With more than 20 years of progressively complex human resources experience, Karen Elkins Cohen recently left the world of in-house leadership to become an independent Human Resources and Organization Development consultant aligning organizational strategy with employee performance. Karen has traveled throughout the United States running learning programs and coaching executives on how best to manage, recruit, and retain a diverse workforce. She has a master’s degree in Organization Development, the Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) certificate, and taught “Introduction to Human Capital Analytics” for the University of California-Berkeley Extension’s Human Resources Certification.
